As soon as the model code of conduct is over, once again Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is seen in action mode. Recently, he held a high-level meeting and summoned officials of various departments for a review meeting. During this, he instructed the officials to make progress in various schemes. He also instructed to submit a list of those who were negligent in their work. In the meeting, CM Yogi expressed great displeasure over the negligence in revenue related matters. He ordered immediate action against the negligent officials. He also instructed to submit the report to the Chief Minister’s Office within two weeks.
Soon the report of careless officers will be submitted to CM’s office
After the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, revenue related officials have come into action. In this sequence, Revenue Council Chairman Rajneesh Dubey recently reviewed the revenue related matters. In this, he issued show cause notices to revenue officers, ADM, SDM, Naib Tehsildar and Tehsildar level officers for negligence in revenue related works. On the other hand, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra also held a meeting regarding revenue related matters. During this, he reprimanded the negligent officers in settling revenue related matters in various districts of the state. Also gave instructions to improve the work. Apart from this, he will soon submit the report of the districts committing irregularities in revenue related matters to the Chief Minister’s Office, after which strict action can be taken against these officers.
Mahoba, Chitrakoot and Muzaffarnagar lag behind in settling revenue disputes
In the meeting of the Revenue Department by Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, it came to light that many districts have been lagging behind in the settlement of revenue related matters. On this, he reprimanded the officials and directed to improve it. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary found that the performance of Kanpur Nagar, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Chitrakoot and Balrampur is not good in real time Khatauni. Similarly, the percentage of Khatauni revision and share determination in Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Ballia, Mainpuri and Gorakhpur has been very low. Only about 50 percent of the share determination work has been done in these districts. At the same time, work is going on at a very slow pace in Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Barabanki, Jaunpur and Ghazipur in preparing Gharauni under the ownership scheme. The Chief Secretary directed to speed up this. Apart from this, Mahoba, Chitrakoot, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli and Baghpat have been lagging behind in the settlement of revenue disputes. More than eight thousand cases are pending here.
Kushinagar, Sonbhadra did not perform well in name transfer while Lucknow, Prayagraj did not perform well in measurement
It was revealed in the meeting that under revenue dispute, the performance of Lucknow, Prayagraj, Amroha, Fatehpur and Saharanpur is not good in Section-24 (measurement). Along with this, there has already been improvement in Kushinagar, Sonbhadra, Rae Bareli, Ballia and Amethi in Section-34 (transfer), but the percentage of settlement is less than 95 percent. Similarly, under Section-80 (conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural land), 34 cases are pending in Ayodhya, 21 in Pratapgarh, 12 in Gorakhpur, 10 in Kanpur Nagar and 7 in Barabanki. All these cases are more than one year and less than three years old. The Chief Secretary can soon submit the full report to the Chief Minister’s Office regarding this. After this, strict action can be taken against negligent officers by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
